Lerwick Town Hall flies the Raven Banner heralding in the towns annual "Up Helly Aa" fetival held on last Tuesday of January each year.   Jarl Gilli Magnusson aka. Bruce Leask allows public viewing of his galley "Vestmaenir" at Alexandra Wharf in Lerwick prior to the evenings ceremonies and celebrations.
